I don't know how one can run in the morning. Bob, have you ever considered this to be the problem for some of your slow times? My god, it took me almost two miles before my bones stopped creaking. Ran the extended Elmwood route all the way to Pacific St., but then had to run around the park next to my house to get up to six miles. Never really listened up. And now I will probably fall asleep at work.

Yes, I've considered it. But I've run enough times both in the morning and afternoon to determine there is no correlation to pace.
You will get tired in the afternoon, then hit a wall about 8pm. But it's so nice to have it done for the day.
