Bob

Good run this morning - 3.1 miles in the frost. About 30 degrees, so not bad. Traveling to Pittsburgh today, back Thursday night. Flight doesn't leave until noon, so I slept in until 6:30 before I went for my run. Getting to sleep in that late before a run feels like Christmas.

Taking my stuff to do a treadmill run tomorrow morning in the hotel. Will plan on finishing the week with a short run on Friday, then a 6 miler on Saturday. I'll know I'm making ground if I'm less sore for basketball on Sunday.

Chuck

Treadmill - 7 miles in 52:00. I like all of my miles but I may be pushing it a little too much. Don't want to have my body break down like it did last year.

Chuck

6.6 mile run down Blondo to the Keystone Trail and back on Western. Hilly, Hilly, HILLY. Will run a little farther next time to avoid all the hills. 59:20. Ran along some nice abandoned railroad beds too!

20.8 miles for the week.

Chuck

Short three mile run outside on a gorgeous Friday afternoon. Ran through Memorial Park and back. 3.1 miles in 23:34. Didn't want to spend too much energy as tomorrow is scheduled to be my first "long" run.

Bob

Ran 5 miles in some cool, rainy weather. Last run of the first week of training (week 15), and all and all, not a bad week.

Welcome

Here Chuck and I (Bob) will post info on our training runs. I imagine we'll have a book worthy of Oprah when we're done.

Bob

3.1 miles in Greenfield, IN. Home away from home, so to speak. Early AM run in cold and windy weather, but it felt better than the treadmill run in Charlotte. Greenfield is dead flat.

3 mile run in a cramped, hot workout room in Charlotte, NC. Day 1 of a 2-city trip, which isn't a bad way to start the 15 week program, since I'll have some time to run.

Set the treadmill on a comfortable pace, but quickly realized it was on a 10:45 mile. Can't accept running quite that slow, so I finished it on a 9:30.
